I began my career working for several years as an audit associate while studying part-time. My dedication to financial analysis led me to graduate from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as a Top 50 graduate.
Instead of pursuing a traditional career path with a Big Four accounting firm, I chose an entrepreneurial route and started my own software company. This business owner’s perspective now defines my numbers-led, objective approach to property planning.
My interest in real estate began while growing my software subscription business. Visiting clients across Singapore for training exposed me to many commercial developments and gave me firsthand insight into the property market.
Through these experiences, I noticed how many successful business owners built wealth and leveraged growth by owning multiple properties, including both residential and commercial investments.
Property investment also played an important role in my own family. My grandparents owned a landed property in Serangoon Gardens, which was later sold at a significant profit when they passed on. The proceeds helped support my mother and her siblings, contributing to their early retirement and financial independence. These experiences shaped my belief that property investment can truly change your life when approached with the right knowledge and strategy.
I don’t just advise on real estate; I actively invest. I have purchased my own private residential property and also acquired a commercial investment property through my operating company. This personal exposure gives me firsthand understanding of the transaction process, asset management, and the practical challenges buyers face.
